I just purchased a 1950's massey ferguson farm tractor. The old owner said he thought it was a 1954 but was unsure and didnt know the model. How do i determine what year and model it is? Is there a VIN # like on a car that breaks down everything on the tractor? If so, where could i find it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The front tire on my tractor went flat and the inside bead of the tire has separated so far from the rim that it won't hold air. I tried beating it back over to the rim but that didn't work. If I lower it back to the ground and drive on it a bit might that cause the bead get back where it belongs? Any suggestions other that taking it off and to a repair shop?

This model has the hydrostatic transmission and in the past had a problem with debris getting cought up in the transmission. That time it didn't move at all. I visually checked for debris and didn't see any.
Why do the new Case tractors have exactly the same interior and controls as the New Holland TG and T8000 series tractors?
