My Speedex was a 1632, I think. I grabbed a scanned manual from a
Web site someplace, in 2005. I also have some scans of a “belt book.” I’ll be
happy to send it to you off-group if you think it would help. It has some
belts listed for a 1630, plus a bunch of other models. It’s probably still
online wherever I got it, but ya never know.
I plant my rows about 30 inches apart. That way I can get the tiller
down between the rows, after the plants are fully grown.
I have a 2414 with a 10″ plow. I tried plowing the outher day and could
not get it to dig in as far as i wonted. I have the tow down about
1″and also tried more
Why is good old 6 volt obselete? I got a1953 Farmall Super C with a fast hitch that is 6 volt. What wiould it take to convert it? New gauges, New Alternator, New Starter? I am going to rewire it anyway.
Last guy to work on it didnt know **** about tractor wiring. He covered his "new" wiring with a god **** Innertube from another tractor!
I know it is a generator you dope. Generators dont have a built in voltage regulator.
Always wanted a 8N ford. I have a 800 powermaster. That thing has ran for years and is the most reliable thing in history. People say Ford tractors are bad, SCREW THEM! The ford is the best tractor in history. This one need a new exhaust and engine rebuild. It has even caught on fire and is still going. It was converted to 12 volt before my grandpa bought it.

I have a 1960s or so Internationl cub tractor.
The deck was replaced recently with a newer woods 42 inch deck. Since then I have been having problems throwing the belt and burning bearings in the 2 idler pullies below the drive pully.
How do you properly adjust belt tension? I know 1 pully is normally lower than the other and they need to be just right for it to work properly.
What is the process for adjusting?
